The Voice Instant Save:

This gives the audience the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists given a span of only five minutes. The host Carson Daly is to announce this moment at any time. So, one must have total engagement in the show to figure the time to vote. This limited timeframe, as a result, only furthers an individual’s engagement. I am a fan of this show but, don’t have enough time to watch live on any platforms. However, I am aware of the behavior that attaches itself to the interaction of a favored entertainment source. So, I understand that if there is someone that I found extremely talented, I would want to do my best to help them along. After all, I am a musician too.

Skybox:

This defines the User Generated Content (UGC) from social platforms as recognition of the fans and their opinions to increases engagement. So, they are certain to set aside valuable time for this segment.

Personalized Content for Fans:

Okay, so this is actually pretty cool. The Voice listened to their audience through the use of creative hashtags which would then be altered into a likeness of this person somehow interacting with the pairing of the other words. The example that NBC News provided in their entry letter is of #Chairmeup where “…a graphic with their name [was placed] on the back of a Voice chair (Shorty Awards, 2016).”

These tactics grew positive results as their Twitter account blew up. In fact, they were granted the most tweeted series minute of 2015 with 216,587 tweets (Shorty, 2016)!” On Facebook, they received most likes of any reality series on broadcast and cable (Shorty, 2016)” and YouTube yields the most subscribers. Therefore, I personally believe that The Voice has done a tremendous job in executing audience connection in a meaningful way.
